United Way ACR’s All in for Youth program, which provides essential support services for vulnerable youth in Edmonton, faced funding shortages for the current school year and potential stoppage of the program since it was first piloted 5 year ago. To raise awareness for the impact and importance of the AIFY program, a media strategy was launched to engage the public and garner support.
Through a unique and robust strategy that included key partnerships with local influencers in the city, we are pleased to report that we were able to secure $103,453.20 in PR with 466,750 impressions for the All in for Youth media campaign that included media spots in Global Edmonton, City News, 630CHED, CBC Radio and The Breeze FM. The non-traditional media integration saw upwards of 90,000 impressions from local influencers alone including content from Justine Ma, RiverCity Sisters and Chandeliers.and.Champagne.
