The Hi Dad Foundation was formed in 2022 as an outcome of Father’s Day on the Hill, a non partisan initiative founded five years ago by three Members of Parliament. The event was hosted in partnership with MPs Matt Jeneroux, Majid Jowhari and Gord Johns as a way to highlight the importance of mental health for new fathers. Over the years, the initiative has evolved to incorporate awareness around mental health for all men and boys, no matter age, stage of life, or circumstance. To launch the new foundation THE ADAMS AGENCY developed a strategic national media campaign to raise awareness for the new foundation including securing keynote HGTV Canada’s Bryan Baeumler.
Through a national media campaign, THE ADAMS AGENCY helped launch the foundation in Ottawa on Parliament Hill. A national media campaign featuring Bryan Baeumler’s mental health journey secured over $150,000 in earned PR to raise awareness for the launch of the Hi Dad Foundation.
